Eli Manning - Super Bowl XLII - MVP
New York Giants vs New England Patriots.
The New York Giants defeat the undefeated New England Patriots in the most exciting Super Bowls of all-time. Trailing 14-10, the New York Giants faced a third-and-5 from their own 44 yard line with a 1:15 left in the game. Manning was under pressure and it looked like he was about to be sacked. Instead, Manning ripped out of the the grasp of Patriots linemen Jarvis Green and rolled to his right, and heaved up a pass down field. David Tyree jumped up and made the greatest catch in Super Bowl history. Eli Manning eventually finished the drive with a game winning touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress. The Giants became the improbable Super Bowl Champions and Eli Manning was honored Super Bowl XLII MVP.
