Congrats to Mike Piazza

We would like to congratulate Mike Piazza on being inducted into the Hall of Fame. A truly classy guy who I painted back in the Nineties when he played for the New York Mets. The painting I created titled the King of the City features Mike Piazza in front of a wall of graffiti. Graffiti over the years battled with being accepted as a work of art, when in fact it is.. The New York Mets have always had to deal with this because of the New York Yankees. So in this painting Mike Piazza is the King of the City on the streets of New York and all over the borough of queens… evidence was in the writing on the walls.
